basic_wp

The old “not_wp” theme for WordPress that I had on here some years back has been superseded by (as per the title of this post) basic_wp.

There are several plugins that are now part of the basic_* suite. They are all on GitHub should this interest you. There is a clean-up plugin, a “types” plugin, a banner plugin and an SVG plugin that are developed with the same underlying methods and ethos as the theme, i.e. keep things basic, and by basic I mean simple, well designed and frugal with resources.

They are all under fairly regular active development, and I am trying to find ways to improve them without compromising the core idea of “basic”. Performance is top priority, ease of use and developer-friendliness is second.
